Why these tropes fit

Thirteen years after a devastating war and nuclear bombs, the surviving states are divided from the destroyed central states by an enormous wall. A young woman with latent but powerful abilities is seized by soldiers and taken beyond the wall, where she discovers humans and demons coexist and that the truth is far more terrifying than she imagined. There she encounters Kobal, an otherworldly being on a centuries-long mission to reclaim his throne from Lucifer and restore what was lost when Lucifer was cast from Heaven. Despite knowing she should avoid him, she finds herself irresistibly drawn to this being who is 'not even a man, not really,' and who finds his own mission endangered by his inability to stay away from her—a human who may be the key to everything.
