Why these tropes fit
Alex Stern, the sole survivor of a horrific unsolved multiple homicide, is offered a second chance: a full ride to Yale. Tasked by mysterious benefactors, she monitors Yale's secret societies—eight windowless tombs where the rich and powerful practice dark magic, raise the dead, and prey on the living.
