Why these tropes fit
Set in the war-torn, dragon-filled high-fantasy world of Navarre's Basgiath War College, this continuation of the Empyrean saga follows Violet Sorrengail—a uniquely capable heroine—on a desperate quest beyond failing magical wards to rally allies against enemies closing in from outside and within. With trust shattered across the ranks and a devastating secret about someone she loves threatening to upend everything, Violet must rely on her wit, dragons, and the one truth only she can find, while not everyone will survive the coming storm.
