Why these tropes fit
This Psy-Changeling paranormal romance novel follows wolf changeling soldier Adria, who has forged an independent new life after leaving her unpredictable past behind, and SnowDancer lieutenant Riaz, who is already sworn to a woman belonging to another pack. The pair are consumed by an overwhelming primal attraction that terrifies Adria and feels like a staggering betrayal to Riaz, as both carry wounds from their pasts. After fighting their compulsion proves futile, they enter a no-strings-attached relationship focused solely on pleasure, until they are drawn into a catastrophic Psy war that forces them to confront their feelings and the risks of forming deeper, committed bonds.
