A Witch's Guide to Fake Dating a Demon

Why these tropes fit

Mariel Spark, a prophesied powerful witch of the Spark family who prefers baking and gardening to potion-making and hexes, accidentally summons the legendary demon Ozroth the Ruthless when a flour-casting spell goes awry. Ozroth needs to strike a soul bargain to restore his fearsome reputation after a previous deal failed, but Mariel refuses to part with her soul. Bound by their unfinished contract, Ozroth cannot leave her side, and the two become reluctant roommates. When Mariel lies to her formidable mother that she and Ozroth are dating, the pair must maintain a fake relationship while secretly opposing one another's goals. As Mariel's cheerful, curvy warmth clashes with Ozroth's ruthless demeanor, real attraction blooms between them—but his deadline looms, and surrendering her soul would strip Mariel of all emotion, including love.
