Reborn as a Spirit Mirror

Lu Jiangxian wakes from a dream of his past death and betrayal to find himself reincarnated as a mirror at the bottom of a river. After realizing he is no longer human, he observes the world around him—a forest with ancient cypress trees and a small settlement. As night falls, he discovers he can passively absorb moonlight, confirming the existence of cultivation. He enters a trance-like state to cultivate and wakes up the next morning able to manipulate a faint internal energy. Just as he resolves to stay hidden, a flying sword passes overhead, pausing directly above him.
